NISSAN TITAN DESERT MTB MARATHON 2009 Take Shape
The fourth edition of the NISSAN TITAN DESERT MTB MARATHON is taking shape and the organizers spent last week surveying the course. With this survey phase the course is practically finalised and the organisers have promised a few surprises.
The toughness of the stages as seen in previous editions will continue to be the central theme. Some of the weak points have been improved and the entire route is designed to be rideable. There is an increase in mountain stages and there will be less sandy segments.
Each stage will have its own particular challenge and personality and the race will start and end at the same point, going back to the previous format. The race will start on 27 April in Ouarzazate and end on 1 May in the same city.
