Huge success of the presentation of the NISSAN TITAN DESERT MTB MARATHON
The official presentation of the NISSAN TITAN DESERT MTB MARATHON took place today at the Olympic Museum of Barcelona with the presence of 180 participants. The presentation was chaired by Felix Dot, the General Director of the Event and Manu Tajada, the Technical Director. In a friendly and relaxed environment guests recalled experiences from past editions and met with old companions of the NISSAN TITAN DESERT MTB MARATHON. The general outlines of the 2009 event were given.
There were some well known faces in Spanish cycling and sports among those present, including participants from previous years Melcior Mauri and Roberto Heras, who gave advice to participants attempting the challenge for the first time. Also participating in the presentation was the former FC Barcelona footballer, Luís Enrique, who had planned to participate in last year's competition but had to drop out due to an untimely injury.
This presentation marks the start of the registration. For the 2009 competition and there were many new and former riders looking to take the new challenge of the NISSAN TITAN DESERT MTB MARATHON.
