The Gaes Titan Desert by Garmin race countdown begins. How do you face this edition being the youngest and the most veteran of the race?
P.A.- It´s going to be my debut at the Titan, but also my first time facing a challenge with this characteristic. I am very excited, but I´m taking this race with a lot of patience.
B.R.- Illusion and hope are the words that best describe how I´m feeling the days before the race. I will take the start with a lot of respect due to its hardness.
Experience facing youth. What do you believe will benefit you and what might prejudice you with your ages?
P.A.- I believe my young age will benefit me regarding the recuperation between stages. I think it is going to be easier and faster for me to recuperate. What I believe is my biggest threat is my lack of experience.
B.R.- At my 71 years old, experience, knowledge, and calmness are my best allies. On the other hand, I´m conscience that age doesn´t forgive, but I´m fighting against it.
Why did you choose a challenge such as the Gaes Titan Desert by Garmin? What are you most passionate about this great challenge?
P.A.- I chose to face this challenge because last year I followed the race to see my father´s evolution in companion with some others. It was such a nice experience, that I wanted to experience it again as a participant. What I feel most passionate about is to face this race with by father who is also participating this year.
B.R.- Because it is unique. This is going to be my fourth Titan after competing in 2013, 2014 and 2015´s editions.
Which is your main goal for the next Gaes Titan Desert by Gramin edition?
P.A.- To give my all. Giving my 100%, and of course, trying to finish it with my team, the Titanlux.
B.R.- To finish, to finish and to finish.
