Granada acogerá el 30 de marzo la presentación oficial del equipo del Milenio del Reino de Granada en la edición 2012 de la Milenio Titan Desert by Gaes. En el acto se darán a conocer los 16 miembros del equipo del Milenio del Reino de Granada, todos los detalles del recorrido de la carrera 2012 y las acciones de la prueba en 2013 y 2014. La Milenio Titan Desert by Gaes se celebrará del 29 de abril al 4 de mayo en Marruecos.

PRESENTACIÓN DEL EQUIPO MILENIO DEL REINO DE GRANADA

El próximo 30 de marzo Granada será el escenario de una gran presentación con la presencia de los ganadores de las MILENIO TITAN SERIES by GAES. Los ganadores de las carreras celebradas en todo Andalucía forman el equipo del Milenio del Reino de Granada que representarán a las ocho provincias andaluzas en la carrera.

Los 16 integrantes del equipo se han elegido en las diferentes Milenio Titan Series by Gaes que se han celebrado en las provincias andaluzas desde el pasado mes de octubre. A día de hoy se han celebrado 6 de las 8 carreras previstas y se han seleccionado a 12 de los 16 miembros del equipo. Quedan por decidir los dos integrantes de la provincia de Granada (18 marzo – IIª Maratón Ciudad de Almuñécar)y los dos de Almería (24 marzo – 6ª Maratón BTT Ciudad del Ejido).

En las Milenio Titan Series by Gaes la lucha por una de las plazas en el equipo del Milenio del Reino de Granada ha sido espectacular con más de 3500 participantes, los mejores deportistas de cada provincia han luchado por la victoria y por la posibilidad de participar en una de las pruebas MTB más grandes del mundo.

PRESENTACIÓN DEL RECORRIDO EDICIÓN 2012

Fieles al lema de la Milenio Titan Desert by Gaes 2012 que reza ‘La Leyenda Vuelve al Desierto’, y a la espera de desvelar el recorrido definitivo y todos sus detalles en la presentación del día 30 de Marzo en Granada, la organización de la carrera del desierto adelanta que la próxima edición de la carrera del desierto se celebrará íntegramente en Marruecos. Las seis etapas de carrera se disputarán en una de las zonas más áridas, duras y espectaculares del desierto representando un desafío único en el mundo para todos los participantes.

La organización trabaja estos días sobre el terreno en el último reconocimiento de la edición 2012, terminando los libros de ruta y las coordenadas GPS de la carrera.

La Milenio Titan Desert by Gaes se disputará del 29 de Abril al 4 de Mayo y recorrerá 600km del desierto marroquí en seis duras etapas donde el calor, la arena y las piedras pondrán a prueba a los inscritos en esta séptima edición de la carrera. Con más de 400 inscritos de 20 nacionalidades, la carrera llega a su séptima edición convertida en un referente del mundo del deporte y del ciclismo de montaña.

La presentación de Granada se celebrará en el auditorio Caja Rural de Granada el sábado 30 de Marzo por la tarde y contará con la presencia de algunos de los rostros más conocidos que tomarán parte en la edición 2012 de la carrera. Granada will host the March 30th the official 'Milenio del Reino de Granada' team presentation for 2012 edition of the Milenio Titan Desert by Gaes. During the ceremony there will be the 16 riders representing Andalucía Region. There will be also relased all the details of the 2012 route and the future of the race in 2013 and 2014. The Milenio Titan Desert by Gaes will take place from April 29th to May 4th in Morocco.

OFFICIAL LAUNCH TEAM 'MILENIO DEL REINO DE GRANADA'

On March 30th, Granada will be the scene for a big launch ceremony with the 16 winners of the MILENIO TITAN SERIES by GAES celebrated in Andalucia. The winners of each race will form the team 'Milenio del Reino de Granada' and will represent Andalucia Region in the Milenio Titan Desert by Gaes race.

The 16 team members were chosen in different Milenio Titan Series by Gaes that have been held in the Andalusian provinces since last October. At the moment there have been 6 of the 8 races have been planned and selected 12 of the 16 team members. Remain to know the two members of the province of Granada (March 18th – IIª Maratón Ciudad de Almuñécar)and the two members from Almería (March 24th – VI Maratón BTT Ciudad del Ejido).

In the Milenio Titan Series by Gaes the fight for one of the places in the team has been spectacular with over 3500 participants, the best athletes from each province have fought for victory and the opportunity to participate in one of the biggest mountain bike race of the world.

UNVEILING THE 2012 MILENIO TITAN DESERT by GAES ROUTE

Loyal to the slogan of the Milenio Titan Desert by Gaes 2012 that reads 'The Legend Returns to the Desert' , and waiting to unveil the final tour and all the details in the presentation of the day March 30th in Granada the organization of the desert race anticipates that the next edition will be held entirely in Morocco. The six-stage race will be held in one of the driest, hard and spectacular desert areas representing a unique challenge for all participants.

The organization is working nowadays on the spot for the last examination of the 2012 edition route, ending route books and GPS coordinates of the race.

The Milenio Titan Desert by Gaes will take place from April 29th to May 4th in 600km of the Morocco desert in six hard stages where heat, sand and stones will test those enrolled in this seventh edition of the race. With over 400 entries from 20 countries, the race reached its seventh edition become a benchmark in the world of sports and mountain biking.
